Current project

Painted birdhouses – small shelters, quiet signals

In times when natural habitats are disappearing, small places of protection become meaningful.
As an artist, I paint birdhouses – each one a unique piece.
They are placed carefully in suitable locations and offer birds shelter, space, and calm.

The painted birdhouses are visible signs of attention.
They connect art and nature, human presence and animal life.
What begins on a small scale continues quietly – in everyday surroundings, through seasons, within shared space.

Your support makes this project possible:
materials, artistic work, time, and the mindful placement of the birdhouses in nature.

I do not become a bagger
When I invite you to open the granary of your heart.
You do not become a giver and I am no taker
When a small handful of food changes hands.

When your fingers curl into a small cup of giving
And mine fold into a large bowl of receiving
We form a yantra of sacred sharing.
A perfect mudra of two imperfect parts.

When a single rice grain performs
That long journey between us
It ends the famine between our souls
And fills these empty, aching and hungry hearts.

END

Every human being is gifted from the very beginning.
Some people forget that they too carry these gifts within them.
They lose these good gifts or replace them with useless or harmful habits.
Wherever good gifts are used, art takes place.
The human being who understands how to live these gifts in daily life is the artist.

Art enriches the senses in every case,
whether the observer finds pleasure in it or not.
The encounter with true art touches every human heart,
because art comes from the human heart.
True art is born from love,
and without love, there is no art.

denn vom Menschenherzen kommt die Kunst her.
Wahre Kunst entsteht durch Liebe,
und ohne Liebe, keine Kunst.
