What unites these works is a persistent question: How do we paint the human figure not as object to observe, but as presence to encounter – alive, breathing, vulnerable in its world?
The Human Being in Nature
My paintings depict humans in dialogue with nature. Bodies and landscapes blend, stand in contrast, or reflect one another.
In nudes, portraits, and landscapes, I seek the moment where inner and outer worlds meet.
Expressive colors, and subtle details convey movement, presence, and atmosphere.
Each work invites the viewer to experience the figure as part of a greater whole – immediate, sensory, and intense..
Painting is my path of discovery, expression, and transformation.
It is a profound journey into my innermost self, a way to transform thoughts and feelings into forms and colors.
From spontaneous sketches to meditative landscapes and surreal compositions – in my painting, different styles and techniques combine into a personal artistic expression.
Direct work with color, the immediate encounter with the subject, and the experimental exploration of new possibilities of expression shape my creative process.
The canvas becomes a space where I not only experiment and learn, but also grow and evolve.
The work draws on years of cross-cultural experience: the meditative intensity of Indian artistic traditions, the precision of Korean visual culture, and the material discipline of Swiss craftsmanship.
